Here we have an adventure in the Sherlock Holmes saga. As a matter of fact, The Mystery of the Mummy is the first game in the series developed by Frogwares. The game is frequently named Sherlock Holmes 1.
Story:
Sherlock was contacted by Elisabeth Montcalfe, daughter of Lord Montcalfe, a prominent archaeologist who specializes in ancient Egyptology. A few months ago, Lord Montcalfe died in strange circumstances and his daughter wants to shed light on this matter. Dr. Watson, the famous Holmes assistant is on holiday and Holmes went alone to Montcalfe mansion.
The great detective will have to use all his insight to solve the riddles of the mansion and elucidate the strange disappearance, but a there is also another hidden secret in the Montcalfe house . The mansion is like a privately owned museum full of artefacts and amazing secrets and it seems to be protected by some kind of ancient Egyptian magic.
Playing the role of Sherlock Holmes, you will have to go to the heart of the sanctuary and discover the Mystery of the Mummy. |
